are there any secluded places to camp in ohio?

camping in ohio
amos asked:

is there a place in ohio that is not run by a campground, just a place you could go and camp in the wilderness next to some river or lake with pristine beauty, preferably in the north half of ohio or in western PA, please give me an address and directions from cleveland ohio and if possible, a picture if you know of a place that is very secluded and beautiful to camp at.

If you go to the Allegheny Trail in Pennsylvania you can camp outside, although it is really the wilderness…there is a place called the Tanbark Trail…however the whole trail runs from the southern states up into New York state…it is a well-traveled area, and if you find a map you will probably be able to track it easily…mountains, hills, boulders, lakes, sometimes cabins, lean-tos, etc…bring your gear! If I remember it runs somewhat through the central part of Penn…wish I could tell more! Have Fun!!!
