i recomend Findley State Park. plenty to do and very beautiful in august

Grand Lake St Mary’s State Park or Indian Lake State Park

Why did you choose Ohio or do just not no where to camp in Ohio but are already there? Best in reference to what accommodations, activities, what do you have in mind to do?
My nephew now lives there and this is what he suggested:
go see Lake Erie if you’re coming out. Camp at the state parks since the National Parks aren’t like most others. Try Portage Lakes.

mohican state park…if you like canoe rentals and miniture golf ,water slides horse back..etc…if you want to see nature try southern ohio old man’s cave area…hiking trails and lots of small parks minutes from each other…conkels hollow and ash cave
